About Us

We are the Ekanayake family: Dilip, Naiomy, Jason, Daniel and Hosanna. Our family is not perfect, but in our imperfection, God has created something beautiful for His glory. We have seen God's goodness and mercy in every chapter of our lives, and we wish to share testimonies of His faithfulness through creative arts.
Meet Daniel
My name is Daniel Ekanayake, I am 13 years old, I first started painting in March 2020 when I attended a painting class by TLC Arts, with my mother Naiomy. I have created more than 250 acrylic paintings. I have had a lot of positive feedback from people who have been encouraged seeing these scripture paintings, and I have donated many to family and friends all over the world: (Rome, UK, Sri Lanka, the UAE and more)
I have done mostly scripture paintings, and I independently choose the colors to create a piece. I have a Facebook page, Bible Stories, a blog with some of my paintings on bloggers.com under “Paintings for Encouragement”, as well as my own YouTube channel. I also won first place in the 2020 Easter Seal art contest in the age 11-14 category. I hope to create a Bible stories painting book in the future. I thank God for giving me this talent, and want to grow more and use my talents to glorify God.
Meet Naiomy
My name is Naiomy Ekanayake. I am a wife, a mother, and a woman who loves Jesus. In March of 2020, my son Daniel and I joined an Art Class offered by my church, The Lakeside Church. It was then that I felt led of the Holy Spirit to start a ministry to get the good news of Jesus Christ to the world through creative arts, worship, and daily devotionals. To-date I have created 500+ YouTube videos of encouragement from the word of God, and have completed 50+ pieces of art.

I enjoy painting as it offers me joy, calmness (me time), and a sense of accomplishment when I use God’s talents to encourage others. The pieces I enjoy painting the most are of women: their expressions, their dresses, and their hairstyles which I augment with flowers and shapes. I was honored when one of my paintings of a woman with multi-coloured hair was used as a book cover on Nicole Georges-Bennett's book: Through Their Eyes. I am still new at painting and hope to learn and grow in this talent God has given me. We as a family want to Praise God for all He has done and all He will do through our lives.
